These experiencers claim that they left the body, entered a transmaterial, transcendent aspect, and returned to the body after gaining the experience. Based on mystical ontology and anthropology, which considers presence of the Imagination as one of the five presences, regards man as the most universal being, and attributes to him powers such as imagination - Near-Death Experiences can be explained as follows: in these individuals, connection to the body is cut or reduced and the experiencer is transferred to the detached imaginal world through the conjoined imaginal world (the level of human imagination). Accordingly, what the experimenters have seen, heard, touched, tasted, or smelled in the detached imaginal world through conjoined imagination has all been through their internal senses. انسان‌های بسیاری با فرهنگ‌های مختلف و در سنین متفاوت در مقطعی از زندگی خود، بر اثر قطع علائم حیاتی، تجارب نامتعارفی داشته‌ یا حالات معنوی ویژه‌ای پیدا کرده‌اند. این تجربه‌گران، خود مدعی شده‌اند که در این تجارب، بدن را ترک کرده و وارد وادی فرامادی شده‌اند و پس از کسب تجارب یادشده، دوباره به بدن بازگشته‌اند. بر پایۀ هستی‌شناسی و انسان‌شناسی عرفانی ـ که حضرت مثال را یکی از حضرات خمس و انسان را جامع حضرات و کون جامع دانسته و برای او قوایی همچون خیال قائل‌اند ـ می‌توان تجارب مزبور را این‌گونه تبیین کرد: افراد یادشده با قطع یا کاهش علقه به بدن، به وساطت مثال متصل (مرتبۀ خیال انسان) به عالم مثال منفصل منتقل شده،‌ صاحب تجاربی خاص شده‎اند. بر این اساس، تجربه‌گران آنچه را با مثال متصل در منفصل دیده یا شنیده‌ یا لمس کرده یا چشیده یا بوییده‌اند، همگی با کمک حواس باطنی ایشان بوده است. https://erfani.nashriyat.ir/sites/erfani.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5001102-1738124725.pdf
