abstract = {The issue of master of morality is one of the most challenging fields in spiritual education. The seekers of spirituality pose many questions in this regard. Using a library method, the present paper seeks to answer two questions as follows: is it necessary to consult a master in spiritual development?  What are the functions of master and guide of spiritual development and what should be expected from him?
Regarding the first question, the opposing and agreeing arguments were reviewed which resulted in the fact that it is necessary to consult with a master. With regard to the second question, three main pivots were recognized: adding to knowledge, arousing desire and practical assistance. Of course, more specific duties and functions were recognized and defined under each of these three main pivots.

abstract_fa ={بحث از استاد اخلاق، یکی از زمینه های پرچالش در تربیت معنوی است. سؤالات فراوانی در این زمینه، در اذهان طالبان طریق معنویت وجود دارد. این مقاله، به روش کتابخانه ای برای پاسخ به دو سؤال زیر صورت گرفته است: آیا برای رشد معنوی مراجعه به استاد ضروری است؟ استاد و راهنمای رشد معنوی، چه کارکردهایی دارد و چه انتظاراتی باید از او داشت؟    
	در پاسخ به سؤال اول، پس از بررسی ادله موافق و مخالف، این نتیجه به دست آمد که مراجعه به استاد ضروری است. در پاسخ به سؤال دوم، سه محور اصلی شناسایی شد: معرفت افزایی، ایجاد شوق و دستگیری عملی. البته ذیل هر کدام از این سه گانه، وظایف و کارکردهای جزئی تری نیز شناسایی و معرفی شدند.},
