Abstract:
Many people from different cultures and at different ages have had unusual experiences or found special spiritual states at some point in their lives due to the cessation of vital signs. These experiencers claim that they left the body, entered a transmaterial, transcendent aspect, and returned to the body after gaining the experience. Based on mystical ontology and anthropology, which considers presence of the Imagination as one of the five presences, regards man as the most universal being, and attributes to him powers such as imagination - Near-Death Experiences can be explained as follows: in these individuals, connection to the body is cut or reduced and the experiencer is transferred to the detached imaginal world through the conjoined imaginal world (the level of human imagination). Accordingly, what the experimenters have seen, heard, touched, tasted, or smelled in the detached imaginal world through conjoined imagination has all been through their internal senses.
