Abstract:
Contemporary man, who finds himself trapped in the vortex of industry and modernity and captive and condemned by the decisions of companies. To get out of this trap in search of a relaxing focal point. that he can by turning to it. Overcome anxiety. And with the aim of achieving such a goal, he may distance himself from the society. And he chooses "loneliness" and isolation.
Along these lines, there is also a type of loneliness called "reclusion" in the teachings of Islamic mysticism. which at first glance is similar to loneliness. The aim of the current research is to analyze the motivations, methods, goals and positive and negative consequences of solitude in Salami mysticism and the loneliness of contemporary man with a descriptive-analytical method and relying on library sources. Studies show. So far, no research has been done regarding the comparison of the dimensions and effects of solitude in Islamic mysticism and loneliness of contemporary man. The findings of the research show that although the loneliness of contemporary man, in some ways, has advantages. But considering the crises he is dealing with. It has many negative consequences. And he experiences a sense of emptiness and intense anxiety. But mystical silence, although in some ways, is worthy of criticism. But since the mystic has a relationship with God and his lover. His loneliness is overwhelming. Under this solitude can occur in the crowd. And he is not alone. In the research process, we discuss the similarities and differences between the two in detail.
